MEDIATION, TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT LAW SOLUTIONS - Lili Hunter Employment Mediator

Meet the Team

Lili Hunter - Director
Employment Lawyer - Mediator - Trainer

After undertaking an honours degree in psychology Lili studied HR as she was interested in the psychology of workplace behaviour and dynamics.  Lili then gained a Law Degree (LLB) and also completed a Masters Degree in Employment Law and Practice whilst undertaking her legal traineeship.

This strange, but rather useful concoction of experience has made Lili’s approach to employment law and the issues relating to people at work more holistic and highly focused on solutions.

Lili Hunter Employment Lawyer AberdeenShe practiced as an employment lawyer in Aberdeen until 31st March 2009. During her time in private practice she won the accolade of “Rising Star of the Year” at the 2004 Legal Awards.  She then became a partner and headed up the employment law team within a large local legal firm and trained as a mediator in 2006.

Lili says “As a consultant I can now operate a more flexible set of services combining various disciplines and can offer these on a more commercial basis (day rate, retainer, hourly rates) to suit all shapes and sizes of business.”  Although Lili Hunter Consulting Limited is not a law firm, our team all retain their legal qualifications by virtue of their employment with the law firm Lili Hunter Legal Limited.

Louise Spark - Operations Manager
Employment Lawyer - Lead Adviser - Contract Expert

Lousie SparkLouise is Operations Manager for Lili Hunter Consulting Limited and is an Associate Employment Lawyer with Lili Hunter Legal Limited.  Her primary function is to head up the delivery of the employment law advisory and support service for commercial clients.

Louise is a graduate of Law with Options in Economics from the University of Aberdeen. After completing her Diploma in Legal Practice in 2002, Louise joined one of Aberdeen’s biggest law firms where she joined the employment law unit on qualification.  It was there Louise met Lili and worked in her department for five years. Having taken a particular interest in corporate employment law Louise developed a sound understanding and awareness of the commercial considerations underlying many employment decisions. During this time she also returned to the Robert Gordon University at night school and gained a Masters Degree in Employment Law and Practice.

Last year Louise took time out to travel, primarily in South America, where she gained a diverse range of experience, including learning Spanish in Argentina and teaching English to children in Bolivia.

Upon returning to Aberdeen Louise is thrilled to be working with Lili again.   Louise shares Lili’s practical common sense approach to employment law, and she is excited by the wide variety of different challenges which surface for her clients on a daily basis.

Joan Kokovworho - Operation Coordinator
Training and Contracts Assistant

JOAN KOKOVWORHOJoan’s journey into the legal profession was slightly different from the norm. Originally Joan came from a social science background, holding a degree in Sociology and Anthropology, and a Masters Degree in International Law.  During time in London prior to 2003, she had also acquired extensive business and administrative skills. After examining her abilities and interests she knew these skills would be ideal in a legal environment.  She therefore enrolled at the Robert Gordon University and completed her Law Degree (LLB) and subsequently her Diploma in Legal Practice.

Then following a very fortunate chance meeting with Lili Hunter, she was offered her dream job, a traineeship role at Lili Hunter Legal Limited, an opportunity which she is extremely delighted with. Joan’s enthusiasm and business experience is a perfect addition to the team at the company.

She is very much looking forward to the skills and experience she will gain in employment law, training and mediation, and believes that her business experience gained in London will help her understand the need for practical, workable, and tailored solutions for clients.
